Artemis II, which successfully completed its mission in April 2026, was the first crewed flight of the Artemis program. It served as a 10-day test of the Orion spacecraft systems with four astronauts aboard, verifying life support, navigation, and human-rated performance in deep space while orbiting the Moon.
